About Us

As long as he can remember, Tim has always had a need to fix things. Over almost 20 years and many jobs in multiple industries, the one constant was the need to find a challenge. Tim had amassed a wide range of skills and knowledge, but was yet to find a role that was simultaneously challenging, rewarding, and satisfied his desire to constantly improve results.

Tim’s Lawn Taming is a product of this personality, and the noticing of an empty niche in the lawn industry. Where Tim would happily spend hours perfecting his own lawn (not counting the days spent collecting and trialling various mowers to find the perfect one), the lawns in the surrounding neighbourhoods remained either dead, or overgrown. Worse, when a hired lawncare company was seen around, the results were too short, too wonky, or simply put: too shabby.

Tim likes a tidy lawn. And he wants to fix everyone else’s. The amount of time, effort, and research this takes, means TLT is not the cheapest lawncare available. But Tim strives to be the best lawncare service, at a reasonable price. And so TLT was born!
